Where is the job fair held in the Convention Center?The job fair is held in room Ballroom A-B on the ground floor of the Minneapolis Convention Center. You can find directions and maps at https://www.minneapolis.org/minneapolis-convention-center/directions-parking/.

Where do I park and unload my materials?For information on directions, unloading, and parking, visit https://www.mnpcfallfair.org/accommodations or see below. Address Minneapolis Convention Center Room: Ballroom A-B 1301 Second Avenue South Minneapolis, MN 55403 Directions and Map View the map on the bottom of the page or visit Minneapolis's website for directions. Unloading (street level) If you need to unload any materials prior to parking, pull into the curved unloading access road off 2nd Avenue (near Ballroom A/B). Park next to the curb on the access road to unload. Enter the building and follow the signs to Ballroom A-B. Parking Visit https://www.minneapolis.org/minneapolis-convention-center/attendees/public-event-parking-options/ to find all available public parking options for the Minneapolis Convention Center. The MCC has partnered with four City of Minneapolis parking ramps to increase attendee convenience. All ramps are connected through the skyway system and are located within two blocks of the MCC. You can also download the MPLS Parking App to reserve and pay for your parking spot beforehand.

How do reps check in onsite?For security reasons, every rep attending the job fair must check in at the Employer Check In desk outside of Ballroom A-B (ground floor) and complete a name badge. We do not need the names of reps in advance.

How many reps can I have at my exhibit booth?To be fair to other organizations attending, we allow up to five (5) reps per 10’ X 10’ exhibit booth. Reps can swap out throughout the day as needed. For security reasons, each attending rep needs to check in at the Employer Check In desk outside of Ballroom A-B (ground floor) to complete a name badge when they arrive.

What is included in my exhibit booth?Registration includes: -One (1) 10' x 10' carpeted/draped exhibit booth -One (1) 6’ x 30” draped table -Two (2) thermal chairs -One (1) waste basket -Organization ID sign with booth number -Two (2) lunch tickets.* *Additional lunch tickets may be purchased via registration. *Electricity, and additional exhibit booths may be purchased via registration.

Can I purchase more lunch tickets?Two (2) lunch tickets are included with registration. You may purchase additional lunch tickets prior to the fair by updating your registration or by emailing Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com.

Can I ship materials to the job fair?Direct shipments to the Convention Center are strongly discouraged, as the Convention Center does not accept direct shipments. You can ship your materials prior to the fair however, through the job fair decorator: Fern. You can find specific shipping instructions at https://www.mnpcfallfair.org/accommodations.

What is the last day to change or cancel my registration?Deadlines Payment Deadline All invoices must be paid by September 1 to secure your spot at the fair. Registrations will remain in a pending status until a payment has been received. Employer registration will remain open until the job fair is filled. Changes, Cancellation, and Refunds You can update your registration by logging back into your account until September 1. To make changes to your registration after this date, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com. The last day to cancel and receive a refund is September 1. No refunds will be given after this date. To cancel your registration, email Brenton Rice at brenton@togevents.com. Fair Policies The Minnesota Private Colleges’ Career Consortium (MPCCC) works to ensure that our candidates have a safe, welcoming, and inclusive experience at the fair. We require that all organizations participating in this event abide by the Principles for Professional Practice as set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. MPCCC and its member institutions reserve the right to decline registration from organizations, or participation by organizations found to not be in compliance with these requirements. By attending the fair, organizations agree to abide by the Principles for Professional Practice as set forth by the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. If at any point before or after registration, including during the fair, MPCCC discovers your organization to be non-compliant, we reserve the right to decline or remove your registration, including a request to leave the fair, without a refund.

Can I interview at the fair?While interview booths could be purchased in previous years of this event, interview booths are no longer offered at this event. You may schedule interviews with students at your exhibit booth from 12 PM and 3 PM.

What students are eligible to attend?Liberal Arts and Business Undergraduate students from 18 Minnesota Private Colleges who are prepared for early season recruiting and are interested in securing internships and jobs in a corporate setting. Students must be Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, or prior semester grads (Spring or Summer 2023 grads). What employers are eligible to attend?About the Minnesota Private Colleges’ Fall Recruiting Fair This event is by invitation only. This fair is designed to connect select students with employers who typically recruit for internships and/or job opportunities in the fall. The Minnesota Private Colleges are seeking large Minnesota-based and national companies hiring in the areas of consulting, banking, finance, accounting, actuarial science, stats/data science, technology, business analysis, management and leadership training/development, and project management. Accordingly, students who attend the Fall Recruiting Fair will primarily have career interests in these functional areas. Are you an employer recruiting for jobs and internship opportunities in these or adjacent areas? If so, then the Fall Recruiting Fair would likely be a great fit for your organization. If you haven't received an invitation and are interested in attending this event, please email sign up for our mailing list and someone will be in touch. Is there free Wi-Fi at the job fair?Wi-Fi is not provided at the recruiting fair. The Minneapolis Convention Center offers free Wi-Fi (wireless Internet service) in all first level lobbies. If you need to access Wi-Fi for recruiting purposes in the lower level during the recruiting fair, we recommend using your phone as a hotspot or bringing a hotspot device. Where do I find my exhibit booth number?The job fair committee will assign exhibit booths about two weeks prior to the event. To be fair to all attending organizations, exhibit booth assignments are decided based upon your registration date.
