Position Description:
The Universal Banker will work on our Teller line helping our members execute financial transactions in a timely and friendly manner. In addition, they may open accounts as needed to support SPIRE’s growth objectives. This position will work Full Time in our Elk River branch and must be able to work Saturday rotations (always paid time and a half and bonus structure).
In addition to starting pay, the Universal Banker is eligible for Saturday pay and bonus, as well as additional quarterly bonuses - all of this is worth up to an extra $2 per hour; no evenings, excellent benefits.
SPIRE hourly new hires between July 1 - Sept. 30 will receive a $1000 sign-on bonus ($500 after 60 days and $500 after 180 days of employment.)

Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a financial institution on the Teller line. In addition, they should have an understanding of account opening, excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and identify member’ financial needs to better support their financial growth. Must be able to problem-solve to make decisions, have the ability to take initiative, organize multiple tasks, meet sales and service expectations, and maintain a courteous demeanor in a busy and challenging work environment. High school degree or GED is required.
